I look forward to seeing you at the Maitland library, a beautiful old building in the little city I call home. Since you'll be in the neighborhood maybe we can feed the jukebox and enjoy some brews at the Copper Rocket...

Cheers, Godspeed, and good luck!

Bob,
My brother is one of your biggest fans. He is in Oklahoma city these days working on electrical maintainance in historic "bricktown".
He would like to invite you to O.K. city to personnaly deliver a copy of your latest book. (Apparently the library doesn't have it yet.)If you should find you have other fans in their neck of the woods, I'm sure they'd love to see you as well.
I plan to check out bahamarama tomorrow. A florida boy who tells a good story will always have my support. Carl Hiassen has always been a favorite of mine. It seems I used to glance at your column in the Sentinal.Best regards,
Mark - ontheboat101@yahoo.com

man, you're going to be one busy author over these next weeks. are you sure you're the same Bob Morris who claimed to be burned out on book-touring?? ;-)
Break a leg, Bob and best of luck with Baja.

Bob Morris said...

Yeah, Deb, that would be me. But this is about half as many stops as I had for the last book. And probably twice as many as I'll have next time around. Should there be one...

Be seein' ya at the Bookmark. Already have my copy....trying not to read it yet (saving it for my cruise - NOT on the silver seas!) but I may break down and read it!

Where's Chicago on that list?

Bob Morris said...

Johngy: Dude, last time I came to Chicago on book tour in January I slipped on the ice in front of my hotel and busted my ass and the doorman, the freaking doorman, laughed at me. I am too humiliated to return...

Hi Bob, Looks like we'll be sharing a time slot at Sarasota's Paint the Town Re(a)d. I look forward to meeting you.
Regards, Johanna Moran

Johanna -- Yup, I'll be there at Selby Library. Don't know quite what to expect at this event, but it's a library and it's booklovers so it can't be all bad. And, oh yeah, it's Sarasota, so that makes it even better...

Bob,

It was great to meet you in Houston. I hope the chips helped!

I want to send the picture of us together that my wife took. How do I go about sending it to you?

Bob Morris said...

Hey Greg -- I don't know if it was the chips or the beer I had after the signing, but my back didn't bother me that night. Thanks...

Email is bobmorris@mac.com

Great to meet you, too. Thanks for turning out...
